This is a curve with a medium fast decay at Start and a very slow decay at the End. The area of the curve is 40.4% of the full square area (-7.89 dB FSA).

If based on area ratio (current to Linear (50%), it’s RT60 time should be 0.81 of Linear RT60.

This curve was calculated from the Semicubical Parabola Curve Equation, applying a value of 0.444444 as constant.

Waterfall (WFA)

Default frequency decay sequence faded out, in the extension of 9 octaves, using frequency shift processed Waterfall sound generator to produce this set of impulse responses.

It’s a general-purpose medium slow decay impulse, for vocals and instruments, or any electronic musical source.

The collection is divided into 44.1 kHz 24 bit, 48 kHz 24 bit and 96 kHz 24 bit folders.

Inside each folder 12 tone folders (A to Ab).

Inside each Tone folder, 8 clean files and one folder with eight Tremolo processed wave files, in a total of 576 Impulse files, with the following folder structure:

Wave Naming

WFA SC044 A FS 3 means Waterfall sound as generator, Semicubical 0.444444 as fall curve, A as Tone, Frequency Shift as modulator and 3 seconds of Impulse length.

WFA SC044 A FS MS 3 the same as previous but with M/S processing.

WFA SC044 A FS 6 means Waterfall sound as generator, Semicubical 0.444444 as fall curve, A as Tone, Frequency Shift as modulator and 6 seconds of Impulse length.

WFA SC044 A FS Oct 6 Oct means 1 octave up.
