HS066

This is a curve with a medium slow decay at Start and a very slow decay at the End. The area of the curve is 40.75% of the full square area (-7.8 dB FSA).

If based on area ratio (current to Linear (50%), it’s RT60 time should be 0.81 of Linear RT60.

This curve was calculated from the Hyperbolic Secant Curve Equation, applying a value of 0.666666 as constant.

Waterfall (WFA)

Default frequency decay sequence was faded out, in the extension of 9 octaves, using frequency shift processed Waterfall sound generator to produce this set of impulse responses.

It’s a general-purpose medium slow decay impulse, for vocals and instruments, or any electronic musical source.

The collection is divided into 44.1 kHz 24 bit, 48 kHz 24 bit and 96 kHz 24 bit folders.

Inside each folder 12 tone folders (A to Ab).

Inside each Tone folder, 8 clean files and one folder with eight Tremolo processed wave files, in a total of 576 Impulse files, with the following folder structure:

Wave Naming

WFA HS066 A FS 3 means Waterfall sound as generator, Hyperbolic Secant 0.666666 as fall curve, A as Tone, Frequency Shift as modulator and 3 seconds of Impulse length.

WFA HS066 A FS MS 3 the same as previous but with an M/S processing.

WFA HS066 A FS 6 means Waterfall sound as generator, Hyperbolic Secant 0.666666 as fall curve, A as Tone, Frequency Shift as modulator and 6 seconds of Impulse length.

WFA HS066 A FS Oct 6 Oct means 1 octave up.
