Witch of Agnesi (Pi)

 

This is a curve with a  slow decay at beginning and a  fast decay at the end. The area of the curve is 34.52% of the full square area (-9.24 dB).

If based on area ratio (current to Linear (50%), it’s RT60 time should be 0.69 of Linear RT60. Time. This curve was calculated from the Witch of Agnesi  Equation with PI (3.1416) as constant

This collection was made by direct Fall from a mix of White and Pink Noise of default style Octave Curves.

It’s a general-purpose fast decay impulse, for vocals and instruments, or any electronic musical source.

The collection is divided into  44.1 kHz 24 bit, 48 kHz 24 bit and 96 kHz 24 bit folders. Inside each folder 12 tone folders (A to Bb).

Inside each tone folder we have 8 unprocessed impulse files covering 3 octaves, more 5 folders, each one with 12 files, of different building type impulses, as follows:

N is another type of direct unprocessed building

I – with a slower fall of frequency bands

II with a faster fall of frequency bands

III with a progressively faster fall of frequency bands

IV with a progressively slower fall of frequency bands

Total of 2448 impulse files. with the following folder structure:

Examples:

  • WPN WAPI A 3 means White and Pink Noise as generator, Witch of Agnesi (Pi) as fall curve, A Minor as Tone and 3 seconds of Impulse length.
  • WPN WAPI A MS 3 the same as previous but with an M/S building processing
  • WPN WAPI A 6 means White and Pink Noise as generator, Witch of Agnesi (Pi) as fall curve, A as Tone and 6 seconds of Impulse length.
  • WPN WAPI A Oct 6 Oct means one octave up
  • WPN WAPI A DOct 6 DOct means one octave down

The files on the other folders follow the same syntax meaning
