HS066

This is a curve with a medium slow decay at Start and a very slow decay at the End. The area of the curve is 40.75% of the full square area (-7.8 dB FSA).

If based on area ratio (current to Linear (50%), it’s RT60 time should be 0.81 of Linear RT60.

This curve was calculated from the Hyperbolic Secant Curve Equation, applying a value of 0.666666 as constant.

3 Fountain

Major and Minor chords faded out, in the extension of 9 octaves, using a Fountain sound generator to produce this set of impulses.

It’s a general-purpose soft slow decay impulse, for vocals and instruments, or any electronic musical source.

The collection is divided into 44.1 kHz 24 bit, 48 kHz 24 bit and 96 kHz 24 bit  folders.

Inside each folder 12 tone folders (A to Ab).

Inside each Tone folder, a Minor and a Major folder with 8 Impulse files, in a total of 576 Impulse files, with the following folder structure:

FT HS066 AMin FS 3  Means Fountain sound as generator, Hyperbolic Secant 0.666666 as fall curve, A Min as Tone, Frequency Shift as modulator and 3 seconds of Impulse length.

FT HS066 AMin FS MS 3 The same as previous but with M/S processing.

FT HS066 AMin FS 6 Means Fountain sound as generator, Hyperbolic Secant 0.666666 as fall curve, A Min as Tone, Frequency Shift as modulator and 6 seconds of Impulse length.

FT HS066 AMin FS Oct 6 Oct means 1 octave up.
