Astroid curve with a fast decay at beginning and a slow decay at the end.

This collection was made by direct Fall from White Noise of default style Octave Curves.

It’s a general-purpose medium fast decay impulse, for vocals and instruments, or any electronic musical source.

3132 impulse files

Astroid

This is a curve with a fast decay at beginning and a slow decay at the end. The area of the curve is 29.85% of the full square area (-10.38 dB FSA).

If based on area ratio (current to Linear (50%), it’s RT60 time should be 0.61 of Linear RT60.

This curve was calculated from the Astroid Curve Equation ( https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Astroid )
