Witch of Agnesi (Pi)

 

This is a curve with a  slow decay at beginning and a  fast decay at the end. The area of the curve is 34.52% of the full square area (-9.24 dB).

If based on area ratio (current to Linear (50%), it’s RT60 time should be 0.69 of Linear RT60. time

This curve was calculated from the Witch of Agnesi  Equation with PI (3.1416) as constant

The collection is divided into  44.1 kHz 24 bit, 48 kHz 24 bit and 96 kHz 24 bit folders.

Inside each folder 12 tone folders (A to Bb).

Inside each Tone folder has 8 clean impulse files (2 Octaves) and another 2 folders containing processed files, in a total of 864 files, as following:

Fx contains 8 files (2 Octave) of effect processed impulses

III contains 8 files of widening processed impulse responses

 

Examples:

  • WN WAPI A 3 means White Noise as generator, Witch of Agnesi (Pi) as fall curve, A as Tone and 3 seconds of Impulse length.
  • WN WAPI A MS 3 the same as previous but with an M/S building processing
  • WN WAPI A 6 means White Noise as generator, Witch of Agnesi (Pi) as fall curve, A as Tone, and 6 seconds of Impulse length.
  • WN WAPI A Oct 6 Oct means one octave up
