This is a curve with a very slow decay at beginning and a very fast decay at the end. The area of the curve is 48.01% of the full surrounding square area (-6.37 dB).

If based on area ratio (current to Linear (50%), it’s RT60 time should be 0.96 of Linear RT60.

This curve was calculated inserting the number 1.732051 [3^(1/2)]  in a base 10 logarithmic equation.

This collection was made by direct frequency Fall from a mix of White and Pink Noise of default style Octave Curves.

It’s a general-purpose very slow decay impulse, for vocals and instruments, or any electronic musical source.

The collection is divided into  44.1 kHz 24 bit, 48 kHz 24 bit and 96 kHz 24 bit folders.

Inside each folder 12 tone folders (A to Ab).

Inside each Tone folder we have 8 impulse files plus 4 folders with 12 files each, with the following meanings,

 

           I –  means slower decay in all bands except main (longer)

          II –  means faster decay in all bands except main  (longer)

                                 III – means progressively faster decay in all bands except main (longer)

                                   IV – means progressively slower decay in all bands except main (longer)

 

resulting in a total of 2016 Impulse files, with the following folder structure:

 

Wave Naming

 

WPN N_R3 A 3 means 3 White and Pink Noise as generator, Root 3 as fall curve, A Minor as Tone and 3 seconds of Impulse length.

WPN N_R3 A MS 3 the same as previous but with M/S building processing.

WPN N_R3 A 6 means White and Pink Noise as generator, Root 3  as fall curve, A Minor as Tone and 6 seconds of Impulse length.

WPN N_R3 Oct A 6 Oct means one octave up.

WPN RT3 I A UOct 3 UOct means 2 octaves up.
