Neper

This is a curve with an extra-slow decay at Start and an extra-fast decay at the End. The area of the curve is 60.53% of the full surrounding square area (-4.36 dB FSA).

If based on area ratio (current to Linear (50%), it’s RT60 time should be 1,21 of Linear RT60.

This curve was calculated inserting the Euler number 2.718282  in a base 10 logarithmic equation.

3 MUD

3 MUD means that each frequency of the chord was faded out at a different speed, using the sequence Mid-Up-Down.

Basically, used on percussive material as extra slow decay impulse (gate reverb style), or in any electronic musical source.

The collection is divided into  44.1 kHz 24 bit, 48 kHz 24 bit and 96 kHz 24 bit folders.

Inside each folder 12 tone folders (A to Ab).

Inside each Tone folder, 2 folders Major and Minor, having 16 Impulse files each, in a total of 1152 Impulse files, with the following folder structure:

3MUDWN Neper A Min 3 Means 3 MUD White Noise as generator, Neper as fall curve, A Minor as Tone and 3 seconds of Impulse length.

3MUDWN Neper A Min MS 3 The same as previous but with M/S processing.

3MUDWN Neper A Min 6 Means 3 MUD White Noise as generator, Neper as fall curve, A Minor as Tone and 6 seconds of Impulse length.

3MUDWN Neper A Min D2Oct 3 D2Oct means 2 octaves down.

3MUDWN Neper A Min DOct 3 DOct means one octave down.
